This is an interesting question to start with. How do you think teaching in your college should be ?? If you are a guy who is from really good college then probably you won't find it useful. But if you are from some local college then probably you really have the idea of what i am talking about. Or probably you might have come up with some better ideas.
In a college, there should be a category of two teachers, senior teachers and junior teacher. For each subject, two teachers be appointed, major faculty who will be taking the lectures and a minor faculty who mostly won't be taking the lecture but will be helping major faculty to organize it and to give feedback. This essentially will help the teacher to prepare for the lecture and frequent interaction between faculties and between students will help them to do better.
A major faculty if junior lecturer then minor faculty must be a senior lecturer so that junior can get some help. I am not sure how much practical this is, but I think should be some improvement over existing system.
